§ Mr. MellorThe total quantity of controlled drugs seized by the police in 1973–81 is published in table 1.3 of "Statistics of the misuse of drugs, United Kingdom, Supplementary tables 1981", a copy of which has been placed in the Library of the House. Corresponding information for 1982 will become available later this year. Information is not available on the total annual consumption of cannabis and heroin in the United Kingdom.
