HL Deb 04 May 1983 vol 442 cc177-8WA
Lord Avebury

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many prisoners have been convicted on charges of making false and malicious allegations against doctors at Her Majesty's Prisons Parkhurst, Albany, Wakefield and Gartree respectively during the three years 1980, 1981 and 1982.

Lord Elton

Telephone enquiries of the establishments concerned indicate there have been no such convictions; but this could be established conclusively only by an examination of the written records which would involve disproportionate cost.
