§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Minister for Trade when he expects to lay before the House his amending regulations relating to the use of captive balloons for advertising purposes at present controlled by the Civil Aviation (Aerial Advertising) Regulations of 1971.
§ Mr. SproatI am afraid it is not yet possible to say when I expect to lay these regulations before the House. Discussions with interested parties are continuing, particularly on the nature of planning controls to be exercised by local authorities over captive balloons used for advertising purposes.
