§ Mr. Banksasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will outline the proposed building works to provide 210W accommodation and facilities for his Department's and civilian personnel on Ascension Island and the costs involved.
§ Mr. WigginNew system-built accommodation, including facilities for cooking, messing and laundry, is being constructed for service personnel stationed on or travelling through Ascension Island. Recreational facilities will also be provided. The cost of the contract for these facilities is approximately £16 million.
