§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he is satisfied that third party sales of the aero engine to be developed jointly by Rolls-Royce and Pratt and Witney will not be subject to veto by the United States Congress or the United States Government.
§ Mr. ButcherThe issue of the application of United States re-export controls to such engines will be one of many which the Government will have to consider in connection with the proposed collaboration.
