§ Mr. Fieldasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the total expenditure so far undertaken by the Merseyside Development Corporation; and if he will subdivide this expenditure according to whether it has been spent on areas covered by (a) Liverpool city council, (b) Sefton council, (c) Wallasey parliamentary constituency and (d) Birkenhead parliamentary constituency.
§ Mr. KingExpenditure to the end of February 1983 by Merseyside Development Corporation is £22.921 million. Of that, £19.264 million has been project related expenditure which can be subdivided by area as follows:
