§ Mr. Canavanasked the Solicitor-General for Scotland how many convictions there have been in Scotland over the past year under the Conspiracy and Protection of Property Act 1875.
§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandThe information that the hon. Gentleman seeks is not kept. The only current prosecution of which I am aware is one at Kirkcaldy sheriff court in respect of an incident at the Fife area laboratory, Kirkcaldy, on 24 and 25 September of last year. The decision of the sheriff in this case is being appealed and as the case is sub judice I cannot comment further on it.
