§ Mr. Peter WalkerIn the debate on the Commission's agricultural price proposals on 3 March, I made it clear that I would be pressing for a freeze on cereal prices and for a nil increase in milk prices combined with the elimination of the co-responsibility levy. But I also pointed out that these matters are the subject of overall negotiations and that in any negotiation one must consider the total package and the extent to which it is right for the Community and for one's own national interests.
