§ Sir George YoungIn the light of the debate on the Committee stage of the Bill, the Government are considering the possibility of modifying the way in which mobile home occupiers acquire their rights under the Bill. We are, without commitment, consulting representatives of mobile home occupiers and site owners, and others, on an approach whereby certain terms would be implied into all agreements between site owners and occupiers. I have placed a copy of the consultation letter, which explains this approach more fully, in the Library.
