HL Deb 17 March 1983 vol 440 c921WA
Baroness Masham of Ilton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they agree with Bloomsbury District Management Team that an early discharge of patients from their Spinal Injuries Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital ("RNOH"), Stanmore, will be of psychological advantage to patients, and what the DHSS considers to be a suitable period for readjustment of paralysed patients.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Lord Trefgarne)

Such questions are matters for the professional team caring for the patients concerned, but the Department is naturally following these developments with interest.
