§ The Prime MinisterAs my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced in his Budget statement on 15 March, both child benefit and one-parent benefit will be increased in real terms from November this year: child benefit from £5.85 to £6.50 per week and one-parent benefit from £3.65 to £4.05 per week. Increases in other benefits will be announced later this year.
