The response of the Government of the day to the sixth report was contained in the White Paper "Nuclear Power and the Environment"—Cmnd. 6820—published in May 1977. Our views on the subject are set out fully in the White Paper "Radioactive Waste Management"—Cmnd. 8607—published in July last year.
