§ Mr. Bruce-GardyneMinted gold, which I take to mean gold coin, is free of duty on importation into the United Kingdom. Goods imported for the official use of the European assembly are exempt from customs charges but there are no exemptions for individual members of the assembly, beyond those available normally to travellers entering the United Kingdom.
