§ Mr. John PattenThe Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland is not currently sponsoring any research into the care and treatment of psychogeriatric patients. However, a consultant psychiatrist, employed jointly by the Eastern Health and Social Services Board and Queen's university, Belfast, is engaged in three research projects concerning psychogeriatric patients. It is not possible to quantify the cost of this research.
