§ Mr. John MooreThere are no advanced gas cooled reactors (AGRs) operating outside the United Kingdom and no pressurised water reactors (PWRs) operating within it. The CEGB's memorandum, published on 28 February—a copy of which is in the Library of the House--shows that the Board expect a new PWR to produce electricity at 2.61p/kwh over its lifetime, and a new AGR to produce at 3.16p/kwh on the same basis.
