§ Mr. Giles ShawWhen "Bothered By Noise?" was published in April last year wide publicity was given in a DOE press notice. In addition copies for information and distribution were sent to all local authorities, citizens advice bureaux, education authorities, county library services, the House of Commons Library and various organisations with an interest in the control of noise nuisance and in noise complaints procedure. Some 175,000 copies have been issued so far; current demand is for about 10,000 copies a month. The need for further publicity is regularly reviewed.
