§ Mr. Terry Davisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he has made a decision on the request from the Indian Government for 100 laparoscopes to be used in Madhya Pradesh and 108 laparoscopes to be used in Tamil Nadu.
§ Mr. RaisonYes. We have agreed with the indian authorities that we will provide 100 laparoscopes in the first instance. The Government of India will distribute these instruments and we shall not ourselves allocate them to particular states.
