§ Mr. Peter Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for Transport what response was made by members of the European Community working group on motor vehicles at the meeting in Brussels on 7 and 8 February to the United Kingdom dim-dip proposed regulations.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe representatives of member states expressed great interest in the United Kingdom proposals. There was general agreement that it addressed problems of glare, conspicuity and enforcement that also exist in other member states. We were asked to consider certain technical and legal points, which we are doing.
