asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will make a statement on recent appearances before committees of the assembly by himself or any of his departmental Ministers.

Since I last answered questions, my hon. Friend the Minister of State has met the assembly agriculture committee twice: on 28 February in connection with inland fisheries; and on 1 March to discuss the extension of less favoured areas.

My hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State met the health and social services committee on 28 February in connection with its inquiry into the structure and management of the health and personal social services in Northern Ireland.
