asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he is now in a position to announce an agreement concerning exchange of information in the event of an emergency in France or the United Kingdom.

Not yet. The negotiation has taken rather longer than we expected. But we now have a satisfactory draft agreement, which I hope will be concluded shortly.
