§ Mr. Alexander FletcherThe age range to which the hon. Member refers approximates to primary stage 1 through to and including secondary stage 2. At September 1981, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 12 schools provided by education authorities which catered solely for this band of education; of these, three were in Highland region, one in Tayside region and eight in the Western Isles.
