Member for Islington, South and Finsbury to the Minister of State.
§ Mr. MellorThe provision of showers has been considered, but unfortunately would not be practicable. 337W Installation of permanent showers could not be undertaken while cells are in use and portable showers, which present design and other difficulties, are unlikely to be satisfactory. My noble Friend will be replying to the other points raised in the hon. Members letter shortly.
