§ Mr. Arnoldasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the Vipyha forestry project in Malawi.
§ Mr. RaisonThe United Kingdom Government have offered to consider co-financing a proposed World Bank project for the development of wood industries in Malawi, including the Viphya. This has been welcomed by the Malawi Government and the bank, and we will be participating in further discussions as the project is formulated.
