Mr. David Marshall

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what is his estimate of the numbers of male and female unemployed adults and young persons; and what percentage of the population this represents in the Barrowfield area of Shettleston as outlined in the census indicators of urban deprivation;

(2) what it his estimate of the numbers of male and female unemployed adults and young persons; and what percentage of the population this represents in the Wester Carntyne area of Shettleston as outlined in the census indications of urban deprivation;

(3) what is his estimate of the numbers of male and female unemployed adults and young persons in the Glasgow eastern area renewal area of Glasgow; and what percentage of the population of the area this represents.
