§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for Industry what further measures he proposes to take with regard to energy efficiency grant schemes to industry.
§ Mr. MacGregorThe Department of Industry will continue to support good projects in industry involving enhanced energy efficiency. Such projects will need to satisfy the Department's normal criteria for support under section 8 of the Industrial Development Act 1982 or under the Science and Technology Act 1965. Both Acts are aimed at improving the competitiveness of British industry.
