§ Mr. William SheltonGrants made by this Department in 1982–83 to the 15 Workers Educational Association districts in England will total about £2,210,000 and contribute significantly to the costs of WEA general education for adults in their areas. A grant of some £44,700 to the WEA national headquarters assists the monitoring and promotion of WEA provision generally.
