§ Mr. StanleyFrom May 1979 unitl the end of December 1982 new town development corporations in England had sold 12,009 dwellings, with negotiations in hand for a further 4,074 dwellings. Together these figures, which include sales of some formerly vacant dwellings, represent 19 per cent. of the tenancies at June 1979. The figures for individual towns are:
