§ Mr. ButcherNo. It is the Government's intention to see Rolls-Royce returned to the private sector during the course of the present Parliament. We recognise, however, that potential investors will require evidence that the company can achieve and maintain a record of profitable trading, and the Government's first priority is therefore to encourage the company's efforts to return to profitability.
