§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will amend the appropriate regulations so that a guardian's allowance may be paid to grandparents who care for a child whose father has murdered its mother and who has been found guilty but insane.
§ Mr. NewtonWe have no plans to change the legislation on guardian's allowance, but if the hon. Member has a particular case in mind, perhaps he would be willing to let me have the details and I will then see what may be done to help the people concerned.
