§ Mr. Kaufmanasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if, pursuant to his statement on 23 June, Official Report, c. 252, the Debate on the Address to I he effect that the volume of current spending by local government began to move down from 1979-80, he will publish in the Official Report the percentage change in the volume of local government current expenditure in each year from 1979-80 to 1983-84 (estimate);
(2) what is the planned total of local authority relevant current expenditure (England) for 1984-85 implied by the February 1983 public expenditure White Paper, Cmnd. 8789;
707W(3) what is his best estimate of the outturn local authority borrowing requirement for 1982-83; what details he has about the likely total in 1983-84;
(4) what was (a) the original plan, (b) the revised plan and (c) the estimated outturn of local authority capital expenditure in 1981-82 and 1982-83, giving gross and net figures.
