asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list the homicides in each district of the Metropolitan Police area for each of the last five years showing the method used and whether or not it was cleared up.

Yes. We propose to introduce legislation as soon as possible to enable us, first, to ratify the Council of Europe convention on the transfer of sentenced persons, which we intend to sign in August, and secondly, to give effect to such other agreements as we may conclude with other countries for the repatriation of prisoners in appropriate cases.
