§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeSignature of a declaration acknowledging the application of the Official Secrets Act is not generally required from visitors to National Health Service hospitals and I regret that the information requested is not available. All staff of the Department will, as civil servants, have been required to sign Official Secrets Act declarations whether or not their duties involve visits to hospitals on official business.
