§ Mr. GummerHer Majesty's factory inspectorate is carrying out a full investigation into the cause of the explosion.
Because of the technical and scientific problems of establishing causes after an explosion of this severity the investigations are likely to take some time. Until they are complete I cannot comment on the possible result, but I shall write to my hon. Friend as soon as the cause of the explosion has been established.
