Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will introduce legislation to require private security firms to take out insurance to provide compensation and benefits of a reasonable living standard for employees who are disabled as a result of criminal attacks;

(2) what representations he has received advocating legislation to require security firms to insure their employees comprehensively against personal injury; what replies he has sent; and if he will make a statement.
