§ Mr. Norman LamontA consultancy study of ways in which the north west of England may best be promoted as a location for industrial and commercial development is being commissioned jointly by my Department and the North West Industrial Development Association. The consultants should report in the autumn. The future level of Government funding for the association will not be determined until the results of the study are known.
