§ Mr. Martinasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will seek to amend the law so that costs in excess of £250,000 must be disclosed by the Law Society of Scotland to him.
§ Mr. AncramI do not consider such an amendment to be necessary. Legislation does not prevent the disclosure to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State of the cost of such cases.
