§ Sir George YoungTogether with a number of other Government Departments, my Department has contributed financially to, and is represented on the advisory group for, a major national 'survey of racial minorities' carried out by the Policy Studies Institute in 1982. This research will provide information, among other things, about housing tenure and conditions and household size relating to ethnic minority households, including those containing elderly members. The results are expected to be available later this year.
