What proposals are envisaged for a full-scale inquiry into the work and conditions of health visitors, the development of health visiting training and school nursing.

We are giving careful consideration to the request from the Health Visitors' Association for a national inquiry into health visiting and school nursing, and have sought the profession's view. We will reply to the Health Visitors' Association in due course.
