§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Government have allocated £8.829 million to the Health Education Council for this financial year, slightly less than announced on 13 April but nevertheless an increase of 39 per cent. in real terms since 1979–80. The financial allocation to the council for 1984–85 is currently under consideration. Individual health authorities determine the resources to be made available in their districts for local health education.
