§ Mr. StanleyThe present backlog of applications for 1939–45 war campaign stars and medals is some 11,000; it was some 18,750 2½years ago. It is hoped that this rate of improvement will be maintained so that by the end of 1984 applications will normally be dealt with in four weeks.
