§ Mr. Ridley[pursuant to his reply, 14 July 1983, c. 395]: I shall be making a statement before the recess on our proposals for this and other matters which were dropped from the first Finance Bill and not reintroduced in the current Bill. Where, as in the case of the provisions relating to controlled foreign companies, it is proposed to publish draft legislation, this will probably not take the form of a White Paper.
