§ Mr. Dewarasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total amount of capital receipts attributable to the sale of houses by local authorities for the financial year 1981–82 and 1982–83, and the anticipated amount of capital receipts for 1983–84.
436Wthey consider or suspect to be addicted to certain controlled drugs. Under the regulations a person shall be regarded as an addict if he has a result of repeated administration become so dependent upon a drug that he has an overpowering desire for the administration of it to be continued.
The number of addicts formally notified does not, of course, represent the total number of those abusing drugs. It is considered, however, that the volume of notifications adequately reflects trends which are taking place in drug usage and addiction.
