§ Mr. NewtonThis report, published today, recommends changes to the terms of prescription for neoplasm of the bladder to make clearer which conditions and substances are involved. The aim is to make more people aware that they may be able to claim benefit. The council has also recommended that methylene-bis-orthochloro-aniline should be added to the list of substances prescribed. The new terms of prescription will be incorporated in the revised schedule of occupational diseases to be introduced later this year.
