§ Dr. BoysonThe Association of Metropolitan Authorities and the other local authority associations, have asked for an extension of the transitional arrangements to allow some authorities more time to complete the take-on of existing cases onto housing benefit. This has been granted. An up-to-date report on the implementation of the scheme is currently being compiled. I hope to make a statement on it shortly.
