§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what assistance is available for the establishment of community centres for Vietnamese refugees in London, Leeds, Birmingham and other major cities.
§ Sir George YoungGrants under the urban programme are available as a contribution towards local authority expenditure on projects in inner city areas which meet special social need. Several projects involving support for Vietnamese communities have already been approved. Further applications will be considered on their merits.
