§ Mrs. ChalkerYes, my right hon. Friend is generally satisfied, but there is room for improvement. My Department is preparing a code of practice for routine maintenance on motorways and trunk roads which will set out our requirements for sign maintenance. I hope that the code will be ready by the end of 1983.
