§ Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Defence to what extent sprinklers were installed in the 10-acre Army store destroyed by fire on 24 June at Donnington, Shropshire.
§ Mr. StanleyThere were no sprinklers installed in the building in question. In addition to the Army board of inquiry which will be considering the circumstances of this particular fire, I have set in hand a review of fire prevention methods for equipment stores and of storage policy covering all three services.
