§ Sir Keith JosephFour reports were released today. I am arranging for copies of these, of all subsequent reports, and of the short appraisals of issues arising from such reports as Her Majesty's Inspectorate proposes to publish at six-monthly intervals to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses. In accordance with the arrangements I have introduced for following up reports by Her Majesty's Inspectorate on its formal inspections of all maintained schools and those further education establishments providing full-time education for students aged 16 to 18 inclusive, the Department has written to the local education authorities concerned requesting them to inform it within three months of actions taken and proposed as a result of each report.
