(2) pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Hazel Grove on 23 December, Official Report, c. 646, which 478W industries are monitored by the similar checks by his Department on voluntary arrangements applied by Japanese industries to their exports.
§ Mr. Peter ReesDiscussions on the state of the United Kingdom market take place between United Kingdom industries and their Japanese counterparts about the following products: motor vehicles, televisions and music centres, pottery, cutlery, numerically controlled machine tools and fork lift trucks. My Department keeps a careful watch on imports from Japan in each of these sectors.
