§ Mr. MacGregorStatistical information on the small engineering firms investment scheme is available on a regional basis only. As at 14 January 1983, 54 firms in the north-east of England had been offered grants amounting to £1,279,325. Ten firms have actually claimed grant and £116,735 has been paid out.
